Designed by Nelsen Partners, which has created Kierland Commons, Scottsdale Quarter, and CityNorth in Arizona, Grand Boulevard in San Destin, together with numerous mixed use developments throughout the country. The design for the commercial district of Fremont Commons will be inspired by a vernacular palette of regional materials including brick, wood, metallic panels, and masonry, with contemporary detailing to reinforce a sense of place. The development will embrace traditional building forms and regionally - sourced materials that respond to local climatic conditions and sustainability.

The residential development at Fremont Commons will include single family, multi-family, and senior living facilities with walking trails and park areas surrounding Lake Victor and linking the residents to the heart of the commercial district. Planned hotel and office sites will add to the livable amenities of this pedestrian - oriented community.
